Tsinghua University National key high School principals training class students to Tsinghua High School

On the morning of January 11, 2016, a group of 35 students from the National Key High School Principals Training Class (Phase I) of Tsinghua University went to Tsinghua Affiliated High School for exchange and study。The students are from key middle schools such as the High School affiliated to Xi 'an Jiaotong University, Zhengzhou Foreign Language School, Xi 'an Railway No. 1 Middle School and Beijing No. 12 Middle School。

Mr. Wang Dianjun, President of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University, gave a lecture entitled "Educational Thoughts of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University"。This paper expounds the educational thought of Tsinghua Affiliated High School from the aspects of school philosophy, senior high school curriculum system and international education, and makes detailed introduction to the characteristic practical projects such as liberal arts experimental class, Ma John Class, art specialty class, Advanced Placement course, MOOCS flipped classroom and interactive teaching。The principals at the meeting listened carefully and said that the educational thought of Tsinghua Affiliated High School has a certain reference significance for the education practice of each school。Then, the principals at the meeting had a heated discussion on the reform of the college entrance examination, the reform of the high school entrance examination, characteristic education, international education, advanced placement courses and other aspects。

After the meeting, the attending principals visited the History Museum of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University to further understand the history of the school's founding。

This activity enhanced the demonstration and leading role of Tsinghua Affiliated High School in the national key middle schools, and also expanded the influence of Tsinghua Affiliated High School in the well-known middle schools in the country。

The Training Course for Principals of National Key High Schools of Tsinghua University is a training program jointly initiated by the Admission Office of Tsinghua University, the Education and Training Management Office and the Institute of Education. It aims to further strengthen the connection between higher education and basic education and enhance the exchanges between them under the new situation of the reform of the examination and enrollment system。The first Training course for Principals of National Key Middle Schools was held at Tsinghua University from January 9 to 12, 2016。
